Rabbi Martin Meir Salomonski (1881-1944) grew up in a merchant family on Berlin's Alexanderplatz. Along with Leo Baeck and Felix Singermann, he was one of the last rabbis in Nazi Berlin. As a writer Martin Salomonski published two novels: the social novel "Die geborene Tugendreich" (1928) and the lunar utopia "Israel on the Moon" (1933).
